The Big Row is an annual rowing trip by 18th century reenactors done with replica boats and gear.  By taking multi-day trips, we learn far more about old techniques and about history than by simple short excursions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

2025<\/a><\/b> – We plan to row to the Fort Ticonderoga event on August 29th. We’ll be starting at the Lake George Village on Wednesday, August 27.<\/a><\/p>\n

<\/b><\/a>2019 – Lake George Village to Ticonderoga<\/a><\/b> – We plan to row from Lake George Village to Mossy Point, and then portage to Lake Champlain and row to Fort Ticonderoga, starting on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 and arriving July 19, 2019, in time for the Montcalm’s Cross reenactment on July 20 and 21.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n
