The Mabee Farm owns two bateaux, the DeSager and the Bobbie G. The DeSager was finished in June of 2003, and the Bobbie G was completed in 2004. Both boats are approximately the same length at 23 feet. The DeSager is narrower, being 5 feet in beam, while the Bobbie G is 5′ 8″ in beam.
Both boats were built at the Capital Region Maritime Center, a BOCES school, under the direction of shipwright Greg Patterson.
I measured the Bobbie G and made a period style drawing of the vessel. Here is a PDF of my drawing (or you can click on the image to get a smaller GIF).
