The Big Row is an annual rowing trip by 18th century reenactors done with replica boats and gear.  By taking multi-day trips, we learn far more about old techniques and about history than by simple short excursions.

2017 – There is a tentative plan to row from Bath, Ontario to Prescott, Ontario, starting on Tuesday, August 15 and arriving in time for the Fort Wellington reenactment on August 20 and 21.

Previous Trips – We’ve done one trip a year since 2003

Information – Who we are, maritime law, and period rowing commands

Activities – Boat-related hands-on research

Notes – Brief notes on history, reenactments, and projects
