The Big Row is an annual rowing trip by 18th century reenactors done with replica boats and gear.  By taking multi-day trips, we learn far more about old techniques and about history than by simple short excursions.

2018 – The plan is to row from South Hero Island on Lake Champlain in Vermont to Fort Ticonderoga, starting on Tuesday, July 17 and arriving in time for the Defiance and Independence reenactment on July 21 and 22.

Previous Trips – We’ve done one trip a year since 2003
