The Big Row is an annual rowing trip by 18th century reenactors done with replica boats and gear. By taking multi-day trips, we learn far more about old techniques and about history than by simple short excursions.
2016 – Hudson River to Mabee Farm – We plan to row from somewhere on the upper Hudson River near Saratoga to the Mabee Farm on the Mohawk River, starting on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 and arriving Friday, June 24, 2016, in time for the Mabee Farm Revolutionary War reenactment.
