Here is the plan for the Big Row, 2018:

When: July 17, 2018 through July 20, 2018

Where: Starting at Grand Isle, Vermont on Lake Champlain, ending at Fort Ticonderoga, New York.

Distance: 66 miles or so.

Daily schedule:

Monday, July 16: We will camp at Grand Isle Campground, Grand Isle, Vermont. We have sites reserved.

Tuesday, July 17: Starting at Grand Isle, we’ll row south on Lake Champlain to North Beach Campground, just north of Burlington, Vermont. We have reserved sites at the campground. Distance is 16.6 miles.

Wednesday, July 18: Row from North Beach to Lake Champlain Maritime Museum, Vergennes, Vermont. This will be our long day, but since LCMM is a friendly, well-known spot, we can get in late without worries. Distance is 21.5 miles.

Thursday, July 19: Row from LCMM to Crown Point Historic Site, New York.  Distance is around 13.4 miles.

Friday, July 20: Row from Crown Point to Fort Ticonderoga, New York.  Distance is around 14.3 miles.

Saturday, July 21 – Sunday, July 22: participate in Fort Ticonderoga’s Defiance and Independence reenactment.
